DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders (Nintendo Switch)

DreamWorks Dragons Dawn of New Riders (Nintendo Switch) is a single-player action, adventure and RPG title from Outright Games, released on 1 February 2019. A new heroic dragon and rider take to the skies in this family-friendly game, rated PEGI 7 and supplied on a physical game card for Nintendo Switch.

A new dragon and rider take flight

The story is built around a fresh hero pairing: a new dragon and its rider, stepping into the DreamWorks Dragons world. The publisher's description keeps the plot short and heroic, which fits a game aimed at younger players and families who already know the franchise. You take on the role of the rider and head out on an adventure that mixes exploration with action, all wrapped in the friendly tone you expect from DreamWorks.

The listing is short on detail, so we stick to what is confirmed: three genres, a single-player design, a PEGI 7 rating and six on-screen languages. For parents choosing a game for a young dragon fan, that makes the decision easy to judge before you order.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

A physical game card for Nintendo Switch makes this an easy gift or family purchase: you get a real copy to keep with the rest of your games. With a PEGI 7 rating and a single-player design, it works well as a child's own adventure that does not need a second controller. English is among the on-screen languages, along with several European languages, so menus and text are simple to follow. If your household already owns a Switch, this adds a dragon-themed action adventure to the library.
