Disney Illusion Island (Nintendo Switch)

Disney Illusion Island (Nintendo Switch) sends Mickey and friends on a quest to explore the mysterious island of Monoth and save the world from disaster. Published by Disney Electronic Content and released in July 2023, it is an action, adventure and platformer for Nintendo Switch, rated PEGI 7, with support for up to four players.

A quest across Monoth

The premise is an adventure of exploration: Mickey and his friends travel across a mysterious island and try to stop a disaster that threatens the world. Monoth is the setting, and the quest is shared between the whole cast.

The genres are Action, Adventure and Platformer, so expect running, jumping and discovery across the island. Because up to four players are supported, it can be played with friends or family as well as alone.

The game was released on 28 July 2023 and is published by Disney Electronic Content, so it is already out. With the whole cast of Mickey and friends involved, it is a good choice for a household where more than one person wants to play, and the shared quest gives everyone a part in the story.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

A game for up to four players suits Nintendo Switch well, because the console is built for shared play. A few extra controllers are all you need to bring the family or friends into the adventure, with Joy-Con and other Nintendo controllers available.

The PEGI 7 rating means it works for younger children, and the physical game card is easy to store, lend or give as a gift.
