Digimon Survive (Nintendo Switch)

Digimon Survive (Nintendo Switch) is a one-player Adventure and Simulation game from Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was released in July 2022 and this is the Standard Edition on a physical game card for Nintendo Switch, rated PEGI 12.

A story about ordinary life interrupted

The premise is a sombre one: ordinary life, it suggests, can be taken away far more easily than anyone expected. That sets a serious tone for a story-led adventure.

The two genres listed, Adventure and Simulation, point to a game that blends narrative with systems you manage as you play. Because it is a one-player title, you move through the story at your own pace, without needing anyone else to join in.

It came out on 29 July 2022 and is published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, so it is already available. The Digimon name in the title tells you which universe you are entering, and the PEGI 12 rating tells you it is aimed at a teenage audience rather than the very young.
