DEATH STRANDING Director's Cut (PS5)

DEATH STRANDING Director's Cut is the expanded and remastered version of Hideo Kojima's genre-defying game, on a physical disc for PlayStation 5. It is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, and the age rating is MENA rating 18.

A shattered world, one step at a time

From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an experience that refuses to sit in a single genre. The central question is whether you can reunite a shattered world, one step at a time.

The Director's Cut brings the game to PlayStation 5 in an expanded, remastered form.

The edition also adds gold and silver in-game suit colours, power glove colours and BB Pod customisation options, as well as additional backpack patches, all unlocked through story progression.

Why play it on PlayStation 5

The Director's Cut is made for PS5, with the game expanded and remastered for the console. It comes on a physical disc, so you need a PS5 with a disc drive.

Arabic on-screen text is supported, together with French, Hungarian, Russian, German, Dutch, Turkish, Polish, Portuguese and many more.

The MENA rating 18 puts it firmly in the adult category.

If you have not played DEATH STRANDING before, the Director's Cut is described as the definitive version, expanded and remastered for the PS5 console, so it is a natural place to begin. If you have, the extra suit, glove and BB Pod colour options give a reason to go back.

It is a game that does not sit comfortably in one genre, and that is exactly the appeal. Progress is made one step at a time, and the single-player structure means you can take it at whatever pace suits you.
