Why play it on Nintendo Switch

A physical game card is a good fit for an RPG you may want to keep and revisit. With eight on-screen languages, the menus and dialogue are accessible to many players.

The PEGI 16 rating makes it appropriate for older teens and adults.

For anyone who has followed Final Fantasy VII, a prequel offers context for the events that come later. For newcomers, it is a self-contained RPG from SQUARE ENIX that you can start on its own.

The Nintendo Switch edition is supplied on a physical game card, so there is nothing to download before you start, and the single-player design means you can take it at your own pace.
