Crash Team Rumble (PS4)

Crash Team Rumble takes Crash Bandicoot in a new direction as a 4v4 team-based competition for PlayStation 4. Published by Activision Blizzard, it needs an online connection and PS Plus, and it supports Arabic on-screen text.

Heroes and villains, four against four

The game places the series’ iconic heroes and villains into team-based matches. Both teams race to be the first to collect and bank enough Wumpa fruit to claim victory, and each character has unique skills and abilities.

Teamwork is central: players work together to battle the opposing team, defend their own Wumpa Bank and capture key points around the map to boost the score.

Gameplay and features

Key facts from the listing:

• 4v4 team-based competition
• Collect and bank Wumpa fruit to win
• Defend your Wumpa Bank and capture key points
• Heroes and villains with unique skills
• Online play required, with PS Plus and up to eight online players
• DUALSHOCK 4 vibration support

Because every match is about cooperation, it works best with friends who enjoy coordinating. Picking a hero or a villain with the right skills for your role is part of the planning, and the objectives give each team clear targets to chase.

Why play it on PlayStation 4

This edition is the PS4 disc of Crash Team Rumble, and it also plays on a PS5 with a disc drive. An Activision account and internet connection are required, along with a PS Plus subscription. In-game purchases are optional.

DUALSHOCK 4 vibration support adds to the experience, and Arabic on-screen text is available alongside English.

Because matches are about objectives rather than pure combat, the game rewards communication and role choice. Defending your own Wumpa Bank matters as much as collecting fruit, which gives each match a clear back-and-forth rhythm.
