Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising (Nintendo Switch)

Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising is an action, adventure, arcade and fighting game from Game Mill for Nintendo Switch. Rated PEGI 12 and playable by up to two players, it follows a simple call to arms: recruit, train and fight on the road to the All Valley.

Recruit, train, fight

The game's tagline sums up its structure in three words: recruit, train and fight. The All Valley awaits, and the title puts the spotlight on rising dojos, so building your reputation is central to the experience.

Game Mill lists the game under action, adventure, arcade and fighting. That mix suggests a combat game with a bit more going on than a single-screen brawler, with a focus on progress as well as punches.

• A recruit, train and fight structure leading to the All Valley
• Up to two players

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

With two players supported, this is a good pick for head-to-head sessions with a friend or sibling. Fighting games are usually at their best when you have a rival on the same sofa, and a spare controller is all it takes to start.

The game card format means no downloading is needed before you start. A PEGI 12 rating makes it a fit for teens and older players, and the on-screen languages cover English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Dutch.
