Carnival Games (Nintendo Switch)

Carnival Games is an arcade and party game from 2K for Nintendo Switch, made for one to four players. Rated PEGI 3, it is pitched as fun for all, which makes it an easy choice for family game time.

Fun for all at the carnival

The official line is short and to the point: fun for all. The game is tagged as arcade and party, so expect quick, easy-to-understand activities that anyone can pick up without a long learning curve.

That approach suits mixed groups. Younger players, parents and friends who rarely play games can all join in, because party titles like this are about taking turns and having a laugh rather than mastering complex controls.

Gameplay and features

• One to four players
• Rated PEGI 3, suitable for all ages

Because the game is aimed at everyone, it is also a safe gift for a household that plays together. Nobody needs experience with other titles to join in, and the party format is easy to explain to new players, so a group can get going quickly. With support for up to four players, it also works as a simple way to bring the whole household together.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Party games depend on having people in the room, and the one-to-four player range makes this a good fit for family evenings, birthdays and relaxed get-togethers. The PEGI 3 rating means it is suitable for even the youngest players.

The physical game card slots straight into the console, and the broad list of on-screen languages, which includes Dutch and Chinese as well as the main European languages, helps with menu text for different households.
