Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (PS5)

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is the direct sequel to Modern Warfare II, and this PS5 disc puts the full shooter in your hands. Captain Price and Task Force 141 face the ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov, whose reach is spreading across the world, in a campaign that pushes the team harder than ever.

Task Force 141 against Makarov

The campaign picks up where Modern Warfare II left off. Makarov is extending his grasp, and Task Force 141 has to adapt or lose. It is a story about settling old scores while new ones begin.

The game also marks the 20th anniversary of Call of Duty, and multiplayer is where that shows most: a large collection of maps mixing fan favourites with new ones. All 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) return, modernised with new modes and gameplay features, alongside several new core 6v6 maps.
