Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS4)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS4) is a first-person shooter from Activision, released on 1 May 2019 on PlayStation 4. It combines multiplayer, Zombies and the Blackout battle royale in one package. This is the standard physical disc, with a MENA rating of 18 and Arabic included among the on-screen languages.

Three ways to play

Black Ops 4 is built around its modes. Multiplayer is described as gritty, grounded and fluid, with combat designed to feel responsive.

Zombies is the biggest offering in the series, with five full undead adventures. Blackout brings the universe of Black Ops to life in two massive battle royale experiences.

Why play it on PS4

This is a physical PlayStation 4 disc, and the game needs online play, so you will need a connection and PS Plus to take part in matches. Optional in-game purchases are available but are not required.

For players in Lebanon, the Arabic on-screen text is an advantage. The game offers English and Arabic, which covers menus and on-screen text only, not voice.

Having three distinct modes in one game gives you variety: you can play competitive multiplayer one evening, team up for Zombies the next, and drop into Blackout when you want something larger.

Because the game is built for online play, it suits players who already have a PS Plus subscription and enjoy squad-based action. The Zombies content is the biggest the series has offered, which gives co-operative players plenty to work through between multiplayer matches.

Players who enjoy Black Ops lore will appreciate that the game keeps its focus on gritty, grounded combat, while those who prefer a larger scale can head into Blackout. Remember that the game is rated 18 under the MENA rating system, so it is intended for adult players only.
