Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon (Nintendo Switch)
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon (Nintendo Switch) is a single-player action, adventure and puzzle game from PlatinumGames, published by Nintendo and released on 17 March 2023. It follows Cereza and her demon Cheshire through a faerie-filled forest. It is rated PEGI 12, a gentler rating than the main Bayonetta games.
A journey through a faerie-filled forest
The story belongs to two characters: Cereza and her demon, Cheshire. Together they travel through a forest full of faeries, and the official description presents that journey as the centre of the game.
Three genres are listed, Action, Adventure and Puzzle, so there is a mixture of fighting, exploring and thinking your way past obstacles. It is a game for one player, with Nintendo as publisher and PlatinumGames as developer.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch
This is a physical game card made for Nintendo Switch. It is the entry in the Bayonetta line that suits a wider age range, with a PEGI 12 rating, so more of the family can follow along.
The on-screen languages are English, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Korean and Chinese. Arabic is not among them.
With a single-player focus and a mix of puzzle and action, it is a good match for players who like to take their time and see a story through from start to finish.
It is also a useful stepping stone for players who have not tried the series before. The faerie-forest setting and the relationship between the two lead characters give the game a storybook feel, which sets it apart from the louder, more over-the-top entries. If you want a thoughtful action-adventure for the Switch, this is a good place to start.
