Backbone One Mobile Gaming Controller for iPhone - PlayStation Edition (Lightning, 2nd Gen) - White
Overview
The Backbone One Mobile Gaming Controller – PlayStation Edition (2nd Gen, Lightning, White) is the premium way to play console-quality games on your iPhone. Model BB-02-P-WS clips directly onto any Lightning iPhone (iPhone 14 series and earlier), plugging straight into the Lightning port for an instant, zero-lag wired connection — no Bluetooth pairing, no batteries to charge. Wrapped in a DualSense-inspired white shell complete with iconic PlayStation button symbols, it feels immediately at home for any PlayStation fan looking to game on the go.
Whether you're deep into PS Remote Play, streaming via cloud gaming, or exploring the Backbone app's curated game library, this controller elevates your iPhone gaming experience far beyond touchscreen controls. Available in Lebanon through OutGeeked, it's a must-have gadget for serious mobile gamers.
Key Features
- Direct Lightning Connection: Plugs straight into your iPhone's Lightning port — no wireless pairing, no Bluetooth latency, just instant play.
- PlayStation-Inspired Design: DualSense-style white shell with authentic PlayStation face button symbols for a familiar, console-grade feel.
- Full Control Layout: Two analog thumbsticks, a reshaped D-pad, face buttons, analog triggers and bumpers, plus dedicated Backbone and capture buttons.
- Pass-Through Charging Port: Keep your iPhone charged while you play — no need to choose between gaming and battery life.
- 2nd Gen Magnetic Adapters: Swappable magnetic adapters allow the controller to accommodate most iPhone cases, with an improved fit over the first generation.
- Backbone App Ecosystem: Access a curated game library, PlayStation Remote Play, cloud gaming services, and in-game recording all from one app.
- Wired PC & Tablet Use: Not just for iPhone — connect it to a PC or tablet as a wired controller for even more versatility.
- No Battery Required: Draws power from your iPhone via the Lightning port, so you'll never need to charge the controller itself.
Who It's For
The Backbone One PlayStation Edition is ideal for PlayStation fans who want the same button layout and feel they love on their console, now on their iPhone. It's perfect for commuters, travelers, and students across Lebanon who want a portable gaming setup without compromise. Gamers who use PS Remote Play to stream their PS4 or PS5 library will find the familiar PlayStation controls an instant advantage. It also suits anyone stepping into cloud gaming who wants a real controller over touchscreen alternatives.
Important note on compatibility: Model BB-02-P-WS is designed for Lightning iPhones (iPhone 14 and earlier). If you own an iPhone 15 or newer (USB-C), you will need model BB-51-P-WS instead.
