Attack Shark X98 Pro Tri-Mode Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with Screen - Star Black

The Attack Shark X98 Pro Tri-Mode Wireless Mechanical Keyboard with Screen - Star Black adds a 1.5-inch LED screen to a compact full-size layout. The 102-key board is about the length of a TKL, yet keeps a number section, and it connects over 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0 or wired USB-C. The screen shows the time, date and battery level, and it can display a custom GIF loaded through the software.

Key features

• 1.5-inch LED screen showing time, date and battery, with custom GIF support via software, plus a control knob
• 102-key compact full-size layout, about the length of a TKL, with full anti-ghosting
• Custom Blueberry switches
• Hot-swappable PCB that supports 3-pin and 5-pin switches
• Gasket-mount structure with five dampening layers and a 1.2 mm FR4 single-key slotted PCB
• PBT keycaps and 16.8M-colour RGB backlight
• Tri-mode connectivity: 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0 and wired USB-C
• 4000 mAh battery

How it fits your setup

For people who want a number section without giving up too much desk width, the 102-key layout is a good middle ground. The screen is a small but handy extra: a glance tells you the time, the date and how much battery is left, and you can personalise it with your own GIF.

The X98 Pro works with Windows, macOS, Linux and PS4/PS5, so it suits a PC, a laptop or a console. Spare switches and a puller are in the box, which makes it a friendly starting point if you want to try swapping switches on the hot-swappable PCB.

Details that set it apart

Beyond the screen, the X98 Pro is built like an enthusiast keyboard. It uses a gasket-mount structure with five dampening layers and a 1.2 mm FR4 single-key slotted PCB, the keycaps are PBT, and the custom Blueberry switches can be swapped for any 3-pin or 5-pin switch you prefer.

A manual, a 1.5 m USB-C cable, a keycap and switch puller and two spare switches are all in the box, so you can get to know the keyboard without hunting for accessories.
