The Attack Shark X68 HE Rapid Trigger Magnetic Switch Keyboard - Black is a compact 65% wired keyboard built around hot-swappable Hall-effect magnetic switches. • 8000 Hz polling rate, 128 kHz scan rate and about 0.125 ms latency
• Compact 65% layout with 68 keys and arrow keys

• Web configurator and PC software for DKS, Snap Tap, macros and lighting

Who it suits

The X68 HE is aimed at competitive players who want control over how and when a key registers. With Rapid Trigger, the keyboard resets as soon as you start releasing a key, and you can set the actuation point anywhere from 0.1 to 3.4 mm to suit your playstyle.

Its 65% layout keeps the arrow keys while saving desk space. Wired USB-C only means there is no battery to manage, and the wired link is ideal for the high polling rate.

Build and sound

A top-mount structure with an aluminium alloy plate gives the keyboard a solid typing surface, with PORON foam and PORON bottom foam inside. The PBT keycaps use the OEM profile.

South-facing RGB lighting offers 16.8M colours, and the web configurator and PC software let you set up DKS, Snap Tap, macros and lighting.

Performance

The 128 kHz scan rate and approximately 0.125 ms latency are designed to minimise the delay between your finger and the game. The Hall-effect switches are rated for 100 million keystrokes.

Who it fits

If you play shooters or other games where timing is everything, the X68 HE gives you tools that standard mechanical keyboards do not: adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger and features such as DKS and Snap Tap through the software. The keyboard is compatible with PC and Mac, and the box contains the keyboard and a USB-C cable.
