Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Trilogy Pack (PS4)

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Trilogy Pack is a PlayStation 4 game on physical disc that takes the Assassin's Creed series into a different style of play. It follows three Assassins across three chronicles, using 2.5D stealth gameplay, and it is rated PEGI 16.

Three Assassins, one hidden plot

Each chapter in this pack stars its own hero in a brand-new setting. The stories are interconnected through a common plot that is only revealed at the very end, so playing all three chronicles is how the full picture comes together.

The idea is to show forgotten stories of remarkable Assassins rather than retell the main series. Every chronicle brings a different character with a different range of weapons and gadgets, so the three adventures do not feel like copies of each other.

Gameplay and features

• Stealth in 2.5D: sneak, hide and avoid detection
• Fool enemies with whistles and disguises
• A fast and fluid assault course of running, obstacles and stealthy climbing
• Three different combat styles, one for each Assassin
• Switch between environmental layers to choose the right path
• In-game purchases are optional

Why play it on PlayStation 4

The disc is made for PlayStation 4, and you can play a single-player run through all three chronicles at your own pace. A PS4 disc also plays on a PS5 console that has a disc drive.

The pack suits players who like stealth more than open-ended combat: the pace comes from planning your route, reading patrol patterns and moving smoothly between planes rather than charging in.

If you enjoy the Assassin's Creed setting but prefer a quieter, more tactical rhythm, this pack is a different take on the series. The 2.5D view keeps the action on one plane at a time, and switching between environmental layers gives you route choices and lets you pick the moment to strike or stay hidden. As a physical disc, it needs nothing beyond your console and a controller.
