Racing games are one of the easiest ways to bring a group together: everyone understands the goal, and a few races are enough to create a rivalry. Water racing adds its own character to that formula, and the arcade style means you spend your time racing rather than reading manuals.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch is a console built for quick, sociable sessions, and an arcade racer suits that approach well. You can slot in the physical game card and be racing within moments, and the multiplayer support gives you a good reason to keep a few spare controllers handy. The PEGI 7 rating also makes it a safe choice for a family collection.

Released on 24 November 2017, the game has a PEGI 7 rating, so younger racing fans can join in. Its arcade focus means you spend less time learning rules and more time on the water, which suits both quick solo races and longer sessions with friends and family.
