A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5)

Overview

A Plague Tale: Innocence for PlayStation 5 is the definitive way to experience one of the most emotionally gripping action-adventure games of the modern era. Developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment, this PS5 physical disc edition delivers the full, uncompromising story of two siblings — Amicia and her younger brother Hugo — as they navigate 14th-century France ravaged by war, plague, and impossibly vast swarms of rats. Hunted relentlessly by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by nature's most terrifying pestilence, the pair must rely on each other to survive. It is a story of fear, trust, and resilience, set against one of history's darkest backdrops.

The PS5 version elevates every aspect of the experience: upgraded visuals push detail and atmosphere to new heights, native 4K resolution and a smooth 60 frames per second keep the world vivid and responsive, and near-instant loading times mean you stay immersed in the story. The DualSense wireless controller's vibration and adaptive trigger features are fully supported, adding tactile depth to every tense moment — feel the weight of a sling shot, the crunch of footsteps on cobblestones, or the dread of a rat swarm closing in.

Whether you missed it on its original release or want to revisit it with a fresh coat of next-gen polish, A Plague Tale: Innocence on PS5 is essential for fans of story-driven adventures. Available as a physical disc for PlayStation 5, it makes a compelling addition to any collection.
