51 Worldwide Games (Nintendo Switch)

51 Worldwide Games is Nintendo’s collection of timeless tabletop treasures, brought together on one Nintendo Switch game card. Developed and published by Nintendo, it sits in the board game and party genres and is made for game nights with up to four players.

A tabletop collection for the whole room

As the name makes clear, this is about quantity as well as quality: fifty-one games from around the world, gathered into a single package. The approach is a familiar one for anyone who has enjoyed a box of classic games at a family gathering. Instead of a story, you get a shelf of options, and the fun comes from choosing what to play next and who to challenge.

Gameplay and features

• Fifty-one games in a single collection of tabletop favourites
• Board game and party genres
• Support for up to four players
• Developed and published by Nintendo
• Rated PEGI 12

A collection like this suits households where different people enjoy different styles of play. Some prefer a calm, thoughtful match, while others want something lively that gets the whole group involved. With so many games in one place, there is always another option to try when the current one has run its course.

Why play it on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch is a console that fits easily into social evenings, and a tabletop collection plays to that strength. The physical game card keeps the library tidy and makes the game simple to pass around. Since it supports up to four players, it works for couples, families and small groups of friends alike, and the first-party polish of a Nintendo release means the whole package feels familiar and approachable from the first game.

Released on 5 June 2020, 51 Worldwide Games sticks to familiar tabletop ideas, which gives it broad appeal. The PEGI 12 rating is worth checking against the youngest players in your household before game night.
