FINAL FANTASY Ⅻ THE ZODIAC AGE (PS4)

FINAL FANTASY Ⅻ THE ZODIAC AGE (PS4) is a role-playing game from Square Enix, released on 17 July 2017. It is a return to the world of Ivalice, fully remastered in high definition for the first time with enhanced gameplay features. It comes on a physical disc for PlayStation 4 and is rated PEGI 16.

War in Ivalice

The story is set in an era of war. The small kingdom of Dalmasca has been conquered by the Archadian Empire and left in ruin and uncertainty. Princess Ashe, the only heir to the throne, devotes herself to the resistance to liberate her country, while Vaan, a young man who lost his family in the war, dreams of flying freely in the skies. In a fight for freedom and fallen royalty, you join these unlikely allies and their companions on a heroic adventure to free their homeland.

The remaster was released in July 2017 and is available as a physical edition. Players returning to Ivalice and those who are new to the game are both addressed in the publisher's description, so it works whether this is a revisit or a first run.
